July 8th 2007

 

A very hot and sticky race day.  After arriveing  for sign in at 8:15 we had to sit and wait until 3:05 in the afternoon to race our feature race. Alot of hiding from the sun was done during this time.  We experienced our first mechanical failure of the season, the carb. started to flood over and caused Tyler to fall out of the lead and eventually have to exit the race before its completion.  This was dissapointing after such a long day.  We all rushed to the Allstar Game that Tyler also had to compete in on this day.  A much more satisfing ending to this wiith a 10 - 0 victory for the first game of the series.
